Felt Roses – Lifelike!

This craft, admittedly, took me a while to complete, but was so worth it!  This craft takes very little money to make, but a fair amount of time.  I hope you are all staying safe, Healthy and HAPPY!

First of all I cleaned off my craft area. Then I gathered all of my supplies.  I used a piece of cardboard, cheap felt, scissors, glue gun, needle and thread, and something to mark on the felt.  I started off by making a circle out of my cardboard.   I used a large paint bottle (about 4.5 cm), and just traced around it.  Then I cut that out.  This was my template.  Then I traced 9 circles on the felt.  After you cut these circles out, you will then cut each circle in 1/2.  After that, I made a chain with the 1/2 circles by sewing them together laying them on top of each other one by one along the flat side of the halves.  When you get to the end, you pull the thread just slightly until the felt makes a small circle formation.  Then tie off the end.  I then took a hot glue gun, and started rolling the middle, gluing along the flat end to hold it in place as you go.  The middle will be rolled pretty tight, then just glue normally as you go outward.  When you get to the end, just glue it together, and there is the rose!  I finished mine off with a small pearl in the middle on top.  This is a VERY cheap craft, and makes such a beautiful rose in the end.
